Does the PBA still have a web site? I have tried to get on it with no luck.
The PBA has a new web site under construction and should be up after the new year.
The PBA site is down until late February . It will be pbsmith.com
My 11 year old son wanted desperately to get in blacksmithing/bladesmith so I bought him an Atlas Mini Forge and several tools to get started. I was told that this association would be great to be a part of to help us both learn more about the art. We are already coming across difficulties locating materials to start making tongs and other tools. I hope to locate an anvil soon so we can get started. He has everything else including vertical belt sander, bench vice, drill press files etc. Please let us know what we can do to become a part of your association.

Hi Elmo…. I visited your shop in July 2015 with my son. I was living in Maine and here visiting. I have just moved back to Omaha now ( 3 days ago ) and will stop by some time to visit again. I probably will get involved again. I sold all my tools and equipment when I left Maine, but figured I could get involved in another shop somewhere here in Omaha….. So, I will be in touch or just stop by at some point…..
